오늘은 고려대학교에서 준비하고 주최한 봄 투어에 글로벌 월드 리포터 멤버 중 한 명이 참석한 신선한 이야기를 안내해 드리고자 한다. 이미 지난 투어이지만 이 기사로서 학교에서 활동을 활발하게 참여해야 한다는 말을 전하고 싶고, 학교 투어에서 많이 배울 수 있다는 것을 보여주고 싶다.
Today, we would like to write about the Spring Tour, which was organized by Korea University, and which was attended by one of our Global World Reporter members. Although it is a tour that has ended in the Spring Semester, through this article we would like to relay the benefits of participating actively in school activities, as well as the many experiences you can gain from such school tours.
한국에서는 대학교마다 학생들을 위해서 다양하고 여러 프로그램이나 투어를 준비되어 있는데 새로운 체험이나 추억을 만들도록 참석하면 좋을 것 같다고 본다. 또한 외국 학생들 위해 준비된거라서 보통 이런 대학교의 투어는 무료로 진행한다. 그래서 오늘 여러분을 위해서2023년 4월 28일 고려대 유학생들과 다녀온2023 Spring Semester KU Soul Tour에 대해서 보여준다.
There are numerous tour packages that universities usually organize during the spring season, so it would be wonderful if everyone could take note and participate. Additionally, as it is a programme for international students, there is usually no cost for joining such activities. Through this article, I will show you more about the 2023 Spring Semester KU Soul Tour for KU international students that was held on April 28th 2023.
여러분 중 일부는 아마 고인돌에 대해 들어봤을 것이고 일부는 그렇지 않았을 것이다. 고인돌(Goindol)은 거대한 갓돌을 받치고 있는 크고 곧은 석판으로 구성되어 뚜렷한 탁자 모양의 구조를 이루고 있으며 청동기 시대의 대표적인 무덤이다. 그러나 고이돌은 시기와 형태가 지역마다 다를 수 있다. 본 사처럼, 이 고인돌은 무덤 위에 큰 돌을 올려놓거나 큰 돌을 관의 뚜껑으로 사용했다. 고인돌을 구경 전에 강화 역사박물관에 구경했다. 강화 역사박물관과 고인돌은 서로 가깝기 때문에 방문하기가 편하다. 그리고 점심은 한국식당에서 맛있는 한정식도 먹었다.
Some of you probably heard about Dolmens but some might have not. Dolmens or 고인돌 (Goindol) in Korean, consist of large, upright stone slabs supporting a massive capstone, creating a distinct table-like structure and is a representa
tive tomb of the Bronze Age. However, every region and area have different kind of shape or form depending on its time. As you can see in the picture, there is a large stone placed on the tomb. Before visiting the dolmen, we also visited the Ganghwa History Museum. The Ganghwa History Museum and the dolmens are close to each other, making it easy to visit. For lunch, we ate delicious Korean food at famous Korean restaurant.
다음, 강화 광성보는 대한민국 경기도 강화도에 위치한 유명한 석굴이다. 이 석굴은 대한민국의 국보로 지정되어 있는데, "광성"은 그림자를 비추는 빛을 의미하며 "보"는 돌을 뜻하다. 따라서 "광성보"는 그림자가 비치는 돌이라는 의미를 가지고 있다. 광성보는 효종 9년인 1658년에 축성된 국방사적이다. 강화해협을 방어하기 위해 축조된 중요한 요새이다.
Gwangseongbo fort is a famous stone cave located in Ganghwa-do, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is designated as a national treasure of Korea. "Gwangseong" means light that casts shadows and "Bo" means stone. Therefore, "Gwangseongbo" means a stone that casts a shadow. Gwangseongbo Fortress was designated as a Historical Relic of National Defence and it was built in 1658 in 9th year of King Hyojong’s reign. It is an important fortress that was built to defend the Ganghwa Strait.

Visiting the Jeondeungsa Temple can bring feelings of inspiration, awe and peace. The peaceful environment, the temple's architecture, and the fragrant scent of the surrounding nature incites a deep inner calm within. Although individual experiences may vary, many visitors usually say that they feel at peace, spiritually connected and a deep appreciation for the cultural and historical meaning of the temple.
유학생들 한국에 있는동안 제대로 즐길 수 있고 한국에 대해 많이 배울 수 있게끔 대학교는 보통 이런 활동을 많이 제공한다. 투어 활동으로 한국 문화, 역사 배울 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 다른 유학생들도 만날 수 있다. 우리 Global Reporters 기자처럼 기회를 놓치기 마시고 학교에서 제공하는 활동을 꼭 확인해보세요!
