Part-time work permission for student D-2, D-4 visa holders
Student visa (D-2, D-4) holders must obtain prior permission from your university and the immigration office to work outside the university. Before starting working, prepare ‘Part-Time Work of Foreign Student Confirmation Form’ with other supporting documents. This permission enables the students to seek both internal or external part-time work at any Korean establishments.

My experience working a part-time job at Kimbap restaurant
I used to work at Kimbap restaurant for about three months when I was studying Korean at Kyunghee University. I worked six days a week and could choose the day off I preferred. I earned about 800 000 won (750 USD) per month and was provided with dinner after finishing my job at 9 p.m.
Due to the outbreak of the pandemic, I could not continue the job. Thus, I had more time to study and volunteer in social centers in Seongbok-ku.
It was a little bit under pressure when I was working and studying. But it is a golden chance to improve my Korean skill and learn more about Korean culture.
나의 아르바이트 경험
